What is the difference between producing grass at 5p/kg DM and 8p/kg DM? 

The total cost of a grass reseed can be significant, however well managed grassland delivers the most cost efficient source of forage for feeding livestock and the difference between a good and a poor reseed is often decided when planning how a reseed will be carried out.

This webinar will discuss the process for deciding when to reseed, the soil nutrient and soil structure requirements, how to choose the correct seed mixture and clover friendly post emergence weed control.  We will also hear from John Holland about the grassland rejuvenation trials which have been carried out at Kirkton Research Farm.
